New Music Video: “Bad,” Wale feat. Tiara Thomas (2013)
Timing is often a very funny thing. Earlier today, the same day this video gets released, I was thinking to myself… As much as I support the home team (Wale) and as happy as I am for Tiara Thomas, I’m getting a bit sick of hearing this on the radio. I think I was (and still am) afraid of a good song getting played out.
But on to more useful things, like this video. The first minute is actually a promo for Wale’s upcoming album, “The Gifted.” The following four minutes is a video starring Bria Murphy (yes, Eddie’s daughter) with Wale and Tiara Thomas in NYC. While the actual “storyline” is a bit lackluster, what shines is the way the video was filmed… and Wale’s locs, which I must say have been growing quite nicely.
“The Gifted” drops June 25.

We use to try to sing this on the bus. (It was rough.)
Happy Friday, everybody!
